Journey Through Joinery - 8 Week

SKU CLA-A-JOINERY

Join us for an 8-week joinery workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of fine woodworking under the guidance of furniture maker Sam Edwards. This hands-on course is designed to teach you the four essential woodworking joints—mortise and tenon, dovetail, half lap, and mitre; giving you the foundation to build strong, lasting projects.

Throughout the workshop, you'll develop precision and confidence using hand tools while learning how to measure, mark, cut, and fit each joint with accuracy. You'll also explore both traditional hand-cut techniques and powered methods, giving you the skills to create these joints no matter what tools you have available. Sam will guide you through each approach, helping you understand when and why to use hand tools versus power tools in your woodworking.

Perfect for both beginners and those looking to sharpen their skills, this class offers a relaxed and supportive learning environment. Whether you're building furniture, cabinetry, or smaller woodworking projects, mastering these joints—by hand and with power tools—will take your craftsmanship to the next level.
