Returns and Refunds Policy

At Adelaide School of Woodwork, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase and booking. Please review the following policy regarding product returns, class bookings, and refunds.

Satisfaction Promise

Your satisfaction is important to us. Should you not be fully satisfied with a product you purchased from us, or if there are issues with your class booking, we encourage you to contact us, and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

30-Day Product Returns Policy

If you have purchased the wrong product or changed your mind, we offer a 30-day return policy on eligible items. To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Item Condition: The product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original, undamaged packaging.

  2. Return Freight: If you are unable to return the product in-store, you will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of the returned item.

  3. Proof of Purchase: To process your return, you must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or receipt.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are excluded from our 30-day return policy:

  • Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

However, items purchased using gift cards are not excluded from the 30-day return policy. If you purchased an item using a gift card and would like to return it, you are eligible for a return, subject to the standard conditions.

Class Bookings Refund Policy

Due to our small class sizes, the nature of our workshops, and the high demand for places in our classes, we are unable to offer refunds for class bookings if you change your mind or are no longer able to attend.

If you are unable to attend your booked workshop, we recommend that you gift your booking to someone else who is able to attend in your place.

Event Cancellations by Us

If an event or class is canceled by Adelaide School of Woodwork, you will be offered one of the following options:

  • A credit towards another class or event,
  • A full refund, or
  • A re-booking to a future workshop or event.

Refunds for Products

Once we receive your product return and inspect the item, we will notify you via email whether your refund is approved or rejected based on the condition of the returned product.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within a specified number of days, depending on your payment provider's policies. If your original payment was made using a gift card, the refund will be issued as store credit.

Note: Shipping costs incurred for the original purchase are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or damaged upon receipt.

Exchanges for Products

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au with your order details.

How to Start a Return or Inquire About a Refund

To begin the return process for products or to inquire about a class booking issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au with your order or booking number, a brief explanation of your issue, and proof of purchase or booking confirmation.
  2. We will provide you with further instructions and details on how to proceed with your return or booking inquiry.
  3. Once the return is received and approved or the booking issue is addressed, we will process your refund, exchange, or alternative solution.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. First, check your bank account again.
  2. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If you received a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au. We will arrange for the return of the item at no cost to you and provide a replacement or issue a full refund.
