Thank you for visiting and shopping at Adelaide School of Woodwork. The following terms and conditions outline our Shipping Policy and provide important information regarding the processing, shipment, and delivery of your order.

Order Processing

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email confirmation at the email address provided. Please retain this email as proof of your purchase.

  • Processing Time:
    • After your payment is authorized and verified, orders are processed within 3 business days, provided all items are in stock.
    • If there is a delay with your order or an item is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of the delay.
  • Business Days:
    • Business days refer to Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
    • Please note that orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Shipping Locations

Adelaide School of Woodwork currently only ships orders within Australia. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Shipping Restrictions

We ship to both commercial and residential addresses within Australia. However, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or parcel lockers.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Once your order is placed, an estimated delivery time will be provided based on your location and the shipping method chosen at checkout. Please keep in mind:

  • Delivery times are estimates and are calculated from the date of shipment, not the date of order placement.
  • Estimated delivery dates are to be used as a guide only and are subject to acceptance and approval of your order.
  • Weather delays, carrier restrictions, and other unforeseen circumstances may impact your delivery time. While we strive to meet our shipping commitments, estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

Standard Shipping:

  • We offer standard shipping rates based on the weight of your order. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items to your cart and proceed to checkout. Shipping charges will be displayed on the checkout page.

Express Shipping:

  • We offer express shipping on eligible orders based on size, weight, and volume.
  • Express orders are prioritized in picking, packing, and dispatching, but we cannot guarantee delivery timeframes for express shipping due to potential delays beyond our control.

Shipping Cost Factors

Shipping costs are based on several factors, including:

  1. Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution hub and arrive at the local delivery carrier.

  2. Weight and Volume: Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and size of your order. Heavier or bulkier items may incur higher shipping fees.

In-Store Pickup

We also offer in-store pickup for local customers.

  • Please note that in-store pickup availability depends on product stock. Once your order is ready, we will notify you via phone or email to confirm that your order is available for collection.
  • Please do not arrive at the store to collect your order until you receive confirmation from us. Pickup times may vary depending on product availability.

Tracking Your Order

Adelaide School of Woodwork provides tracking on all orders shipped within Australia.

  • After your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email to monitor your order’s progress.
  • If you choose to use a specific shipping provider or courier, please be aware that tracking may not always be available. We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues with third-party carriers or couriers.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us immediately at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au. We will guide you through the steps to address the issue, including possible replacement or refunds for damaged items.

Missing or Lost Packages

Occasionally, packages may be delayed, lost, or misplaced during transit. If your package appears to be missing or has not arrived as expected, we recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Check around your delivery location. Couriers may leave packages in hidden or safe areas, such as with a neighbor or in a secure area near your building.

  2. Contact the delivery carrier. You can also check with the shipping carrier for additional tracking details or delivery status updates.

If you still cannot locate your package, please reach out to us at info@adelaideschoolofwoodwork.com.au to report a missing or lost package. We will work with you and the carrier to locate the package or arrange for a replacement if necessary.

Shipping Delays

While we strive to meet all estimated delivery times, please note that delays may occur due to various factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions,
  • Carrier shipping practices,
  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

We will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information. Please double-check all shipping details before placing your order.
