Beginner Woodwork #2 - 8 Week
Build something that holds more than just tea.
In this 8-week course, you’ll create a handcrafted timber tea box—complete with a desert ash feature lid, hidden splines, and a perfectly fitted grid divider. But what you really walk away with is something deeper: the confidence to use machinery, the rhythm of working with your hands, and the satisfaction of making something meaningful from start to finish.
Each week, you’ll develop new skills in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Learn how to safely use machines like the router table, thicknesser, table saw, and bandsaw, while exploring techniques like mitred joinery, glue-up, pre-finishing, and lid construction with a shadow reveal.
Crafted from beautiful timbers like maple, cherry, or walnut, your box will be precise, personal, and ready to hold whatever matters most.
Whether you’ve taken our Beginner #1 course or are jumping in fresh, this class will guide you step by step—through every cut, clamp, and quiet moment at the bench.
To participate in this workshop you must be at least 18 years of age
