Mortise Chisel Timber Handle

Forged in the Czech Republic from premium chrome-manganese steel, these Mortice Chisels are heat-treated to Rc59 for exceptional durability and performance. Designed for heavy-duty woodworking, their thick blades taper from tip to shoulder, allowing for easy sidewall clearance and efficient removal of material from deep recesses. The chisels come fully sharpened and meet the German DIN 5139 standard, so they're ready to use straight out of the box.

The oval-shaped beech handles are both ergonomic and practical, providing a comfortable grip while resisting unwanted rolling on your workbench. Reinforced with steel hoops and ferrules, the handles ensure strength and durability. With a blade length of approximately 145-150mm and an overall length of around 300mm, these chisels offer the perfect balance of control and leverage for precise mortising tasks.
